Welcome to Academia Los Pinares, a bilingual school in Honduras with over fifty years of service to God and the community.
We want our students to grow in an intellectual, social, personal, physical, and spiritual way to honor and glorify God in their lives.
We have extensive experience in the bilingual education of children and teenagers. We have qualified teaching staff who deal responsibly with teaching and training your children. With God’s help, we will try to give your child the best and healthiest learning environment.

Admissions Requirements
Pre-School:
Kinder
Fill the Admissions application
4 years of age before August
- License size photograph
Original Birth Certificate or Passport photocopy, if foreign
- Copy of Vaccine Record
- Medical record (Pediatrician) that includes vision and hearing checks
Pastoral reference certificate (if you are an evangelical family)
Work certificates (must include salary, position and seniority)
Preparatory
The same KINDER requirements, plus the following:
Copy of Kindergarten Report Cards
Proof of solvency
Admissions Test
For Preparatory your child should be 5 years old
Elementary:
The same as Preschool requirements, plus the following:
Copy of Kinder grades for those students entering first grade
Certification of studies for those students who enter 2nd until the 12th grade
Letter of conduct for 1st grade until the 12th grade
Age is not relevant
High School / B.I.C.H:
Fill the Admissions application
License size photograph
Original Birth Certificate or passport photocopy, if foreign
Copy of Vaccine Record

Certification of Studies of previous years and photocopy of transcripts

Frequently Asked Questions
We teach biblical truths, not theology.
Yes. The school environment is based on Christian principles and our staff attends different evangelical churches.
Each week in elementary and secondary we have chapels with the students, as well as prayer time at the beginning of the day.
- In Secondary we have spiritual retreats, discipleship, social outreach, and the ALIVE program which is held once per month on Fridays starting at 3:00 p.m.
- In Elementary we have the Challenge Club activity.
For Preschool and Elementary, from 7:30 a.m.to 2:30 p.m.
For Secondary, from 7:30 a.m. to 2:40 p.m.
The 2020-2021 School year begins on August 17th 2020 and ends on June _th 2021.
We have several universities who visit us during the school year and some of them grant scholarships to students who fulfill the requirements they ask for.
The ALP Class of 2019 was offered a total of $1,905,189 in scholarships and financial aid and got accepted into more than 90 colleges and universities in Canada, United States, Germany, the Philippines and Honduras
