Highlights from Our First 2024 – 2025 Challenge Club Meeting

In our first Challenge Club meeting of the year, we were thrilled to welcome 5th and 6th-grade students into an engaging and faith-filled environment. The session kicked off with icebreakers and games designed to promote teamwork, creativity, and fun, setting the stage for a vibrant community. The students explored the theme of being the “light of the world,” inspired by Matthew 5:14-16. Each group created a unique name and cheer, fostering unity and excitement. A highlight of the day was when students proudly presented their group names and cheers, fully embracing teamwork and energizing the entire room.

To close the session, we gathered for a large group devotion, sharing God’s Word and reflecting on how to shine His light in everyday life. The students listened to messages about compassion, kindness, and living out their faith, leaving inspired to make a difference.

This first meeting established a strong sense of belonging and purpose within the Challenge Club. The blend of fun activities and meaningful conversations has laid a solid foundation for spiritual growth throughout the year. The students’ enthusiasm is contagious, and we’re excited to continue guiding them on their journeys of faith as they apply biblical principles to their lives. We look forward to upcoming sessions and the continued opportunity to shine God’s light together!
