Academia Los Pinares Preschool Curriculum
At Academia Los Pinares, we believe that every child is uniquely created by God with a purpose. Our preschool program provides a strong foundation for early childhood development through a bilingual, Christian education that integrates biblical principles, social-emotional growth, and academic readiness.
Montessori-Inspired Early Learning
Starting in August 2025, we will introduce the Montessori Method into our early childhood curriculum. Our K3 class will be fully Montessori, with a dedicated, thoughtfully prepared environment and certified guides. Additionally, a specially equipped Montessori classroom will be available for Kindergarten (K4) and Preparatory (K5), allowing students to experience a smooth and developmentally appropriate transition.
The Montessori philosophy fosters autonomy, focus, curiosity, and a love for learning by allowing children to explore and progress at their own pace in a calm, purposeful atmosphere.
Comprehensive and Christ-centered Education
Our preschool students explore a range of subjects, including Bible, mathematics, English language arts, science, social studies, music, and physical education. Through Scripture memory, songs, and role-playing, biblical truths are woven into daily learning, helping children understand Godās creation and their role in it.
NEW: K3 Montessori Pre-Kindergarten
Our K3 Montessori classroom offers a nurturing and respectful environment where young children begin their educational journey with joy and confidence. Guided by our certified Montessori guides, children explore with hands-on materials and build independence. Rooted in Christian values, this program helps children grow in kindness, curiosity, and love for God and others, and learning.
Kinder Level (K4)
Focused on foundational math, phonics, pre-reading skills, and interactive lessons in music, science, language arts, and handwriting. Intentional play fosters a joyful, interactive environment.
Preparatory Level (K5)
Focused on phonics, reading, handwriting, science, and social studies through age-appropriate lessons. Students build foundational skills in reading strategies, listening, and speaking, while exploring key biblical themes:
- God is great and good.
- God created me and all things.
- The Bible is Godās Word and it’s true.
- I learn to serve God and others.
