Welcome to an unprecedent but blessed start of a new school year! It is a joy for all of us at Academia Los Pinares to extend the most warming welcome to each returning and new student.
In our first devotional time for all staff at ALP, our Superintendent, Mrs. Kim Chinchilla challenged and inspired us to do whatever we do with all our heart, as working for the Lord not for human masters (regardless of the circumstances) as stated in Colossians 3:23. With no doubt this online learning experience is going to be different with its own dynamic, adjustments and challenges but what is not going to change, it is our high academic performance, our service to the Lord, our love for our students and families, our hard work seeking God’s glory in all we do, as stated by Mrs. Chinchilla.
The quality of Academia Los Pinares exceptional education extends beyond the bricks of our buildings. Our talented Christian faculty has been practicing their pedagogical and technological mastery with the new equipment, to face the new reality with our students and the most important, the faithfulness of our Lord that has sustained the school for the past 57 years it is new every morning.
“Because of the Lord’s faithful love we do not perish, for His mercies never end. They are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness”. Lamentations 3:21-23
By God’s grace, the mission and the vision of our school forming the hearts and minds of our future leaders with a Christ-centered bilingual education, will continue in our online format as we keep you lifting up in prayer. We have families and students that have been more impacted than others, some of them confronting unexpected loss and parents working in the frontline every day, so we encourage you to also set time aside during this school year to pray and seek God’s mercy, grace and blessing upon you, our Pinares family and our country. At home, please provide a good daily routine to your children including bedtime, encourage them to focus on their classes online and help them supplying a good quiet area to work.
We remain hopeful of what the future holds because God loves us and He keep His promises, so we do not loss sight despite of the pandemic, we keep seeking our mighty God knowing that “He is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us”. Ephesians 3:20.
