From the Principal (7-12):

Academia Los Pinares High School consists of over 260 students in grades 7-12. We are dedicated to the development of the spiritual, mental, and physical growth of the students we serve. All subjects taught reflect the primacy of God, as well as our responsibility to our neighbor. We promote a Christian worldview in all that we do.

Academia Los Pinares provides biblical instruction and personal guidance that reflect a desire to lead students to a personal commitment to God and service to the community and country. The high school meets these goals through a high standard of instruction, discipline, example, and life experiences.

ALP is committed to providing a U.S.-type education that meets the needs of the students and also the requirements for a Honduran education. Some of the required coursed include Bible, English, Spanish, mathematics, science, history, and physical education.

With a more structured environment and smaller class sizes (normally a maximum of 25), students receive more individulized attention.

ALP high school offers a spiritual emphasis through prayer in classes, weekly chapels, student retreats, and Bible classes. Our Fine Arts program offers music, art, home economics, and industrial arts. We also encourage participation in sports such as soccer, basketball, track and field, and volleyball.

The Academia Los Pinares High School Staff is a dedicated team working together in God's service, impacting for Christ the lives of students who someday may be the leaders of Honduras. It is a wonderful place to serve the Lord.
